I believe the map module no longer functions on the newer OS versions. Some people report some odd issues now and them but for the most part it works. Catalina and on it will work but you can't install or re-install.

I have been using it for 4 years and I don’t have a single file in the cloud. It you choose to sync it only sends smart previews. It requires local file storage with an option to sync to the cloud if you choose to do so. You install it in your desktop just like LR6. Just in case the new version of LR Classic is not cloud based. Just tried the full download, and it works.

People that have moved onto the subscription version might have v6 lying around. I know its all cloud based, but is there a way to get a standalone version of Lightroom 6 anywhere ?
